In Short
- Leak group Cyberleek says it will release a full playable GTA 6 build if its meme coin hits a $30 million market cap.
- The claim is unverified: Rockstar and Take-Two have not confirmed that any complete build exists.
- GTA 6 still launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, so story spoilers are now the real risk for fans.
If you are waiting for GTA 6, the next five weeks just got riskier for spoilers. As reported by The Daily Game News, the group behind this year’s GTA 6 gameplay leaks, Cyberleek, posted a demand on its website: if its cryptocurrency reaches a $30 million market cap, it says “the build goes out, full story mode, played to the end, credits and all.”
Cyberleek Is Using a GTA 6 Leak Threat to Pump a Meme Coin
The demand came days after the group posted roughly 25 minutes of new footage, which reportedly includes mission cutscenes, racing, first-person gameplay and scenes with Jason and Lucia. Eurogamer said it has seen the video and believes it is legitimate. Earlier clips, posted since August, showed combat, driving, basketball, police chases and parts of the map.
Cyberleek also offers Take-Two a way out: ship GTA 6 on physical discs and issue a public apology. That taps into a real complaint, because GTA 6 boxes will reportedly contain only a download code, not a disc. But tying a “consumer protest” to a coin the same account promotes makes the whole thing look more like a pump than a cause.
Gaming creator LegacyKillaHD flagged the threat on X on October 10 and warned that major story spoilers could be posted to prove the build is real.
Nobody Has Confirmed a Playable GTA 6 Build Exists
Footage is one thing; a complete, runnable story build is a much bigger claim. Rockstar has not confirmed the source of the leaks, and neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has said a full build is out there. Rockstar previously called the leaks “heartbreaking,” and Take-Two has gone to court, including an attempt to subpoena Discord for the leaker’s identity.
Giving in also looks unlikely. A public apology on demand would be a huge brand hit for Take-Two’s biggest game, so the likelier outcome is that the publisher waits to see whether the group is bluffing. A $30 million market cap target is also easy to quietly miss, which gives the group cover if nothing ever drops.
What This Means for You
- Mute the spoilers now. Mute “GTA 6”, “Cyberleek”, “Jason” and “Lucia” on X, YouTube and Reddit if you want the story fresh on day one.
- Do not download “leaked GTA 6 builds.” Any file or link promising a playable copy right now is far more likely to be malware or a scam than a real game.
- Do not buy the coin to “unlock” a leak. Meme coins tied to hype can crash fast, and nothing guarantees a build ever appears.
- The real date is still November 19. No PC version has been announced, so console players lose nothing by simply waiting.
