Every Thursday at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, Epic Games offers at least one free PC game (sometimes two or three, though!). All you need to do to claim the free games is create a free Epic account and enable two-factor authentication to start snagging freebies. You have a week to add the freebies to your library before the new one(s) take their place. At this point, Epic has given away hundreds of free games, and there’s no sign that the program will stop any time soon.

From now until August 10 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, you can claim Loop Hero and Bloons TD 6. That’s quite the pair of freebies. Loop Hero is an endless role-playing game with rogue-like and deckbuilding elements. Developed by Four Quarters and published by Devolver Digital, Loop Hero’s randomly generated world can be modified by placing cards on the map. It’s one of the best “one more try” games in recent years, so you should definitely check it out.
Meanwhile, Bloons TD 6 is the latest entry in the beloved tower defense series. If you like tower defense games, you owe it to yourself to give this one a try.
Next free game at EpicOrwell: Keeping an Eye on You
Starting August 10, you can claim Europa Universalis IV and Orwell: Keeping an Eye on You. Europa Universalis 4 is a grand strategy game developed by Paradox Interactive and published by Paradox Interactive. It’s a huge game, and it’s one of the most popular Paradox games ever. It’s a bit of a commitment, but it’s definitely worth checking out.
