A new trailer for FromSoftware’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has arrived just in time for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2018, which is but a week away.
The trailer shows off new combat mechanics which clearly separates it from other title like Dark Souls. The combat primarily focuses on stealth and taking down enemies before they notice you. In the video, we can see the protagonist using a grappling hook to reach the top of the roofs for some sneaky play on unaware enemies.
In latter part of the video, we can also see him sneaking behind a shinobi standing on the ledge.
The short trailer also showcases some badass bosses which we will fight when the game eventually comes out in March next year.
The trailer kicks off with an introduction in Japanese audio stating “Even if you fall, uphold the oath to bring home your master. For you are my shinobi.”
Later in the video, a shadow boss says “So, the Young Lord’s shinobi thinks he can stop us?”
Although, no information regarding the story is provided as of yet. We can make a simple speculation with the help of starting lines and lines boss said later in the video.
The main protagonist’s mission is to save the young lord held hostage somewhere in the castle.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 22,2019.
