Hey, guess what? Rockstar Games just spilled the beans that GTA 6 is totally in the works! And get this, we’re gonna catch a glimpse of it in action on Tuesday, December 5. That’s the big day when the GTA 6 trailer drops, and man, we’re already drooling over the possibilities. Especially since the sneak peek pic seems to hint at a Miami vibe… going back to Vice City, maybe?
When is the GTA 6 trailer coming out?
Rockstar just confirmed that the first GTA 6 trailer will drop on Tuesday, December 5. They teased it with an image showing a sunny horizon and some silhouette of trees, giving off major Vice City vibes. The trailer will hit the Rockstar YouTube page
Is Gta 6 is in Vice City?
Looks like the speculation was spot on – GTA 6 is indeed taking us back to Vice City. Rockstar’s confirmation of the leaked gameplay footage gives us a clearer picture of what to expect in terms of the city and its setting. One sneak peek shows an underground rail system labeled “Vice City Metro,” and if you’ve got sharp eyes, you might’ve caught familiar sights from GTA 3: Vice City, like the Malibu Club, Ocean View Hotel, Little Haiti, and Vice Beach.
Of course, Vice City isn’t frozen in time. Remember, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City went down in 1986, but GTA 6 seems to be bringing us to the modern day. The NPCs flaunting smartphones and sporting contemporary clothing strongly suggest that GTA 6 is set in a present-day version of Miami, Florida. But wait, there’s more: keen-eyed social media users believe a character references the LifeInvader CEO’s demise, killed by Michael De Santa in GTA 5. So, it looks like GTA 6 happens after the chaos of GTA 5.
