Blackout Beta
Developer Activision and Publisher’s Treyarch studio confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout Battle Royale Beta will have an open beta testing on Sep 10 and 14.
Thanks to an exclusive private beta session, PS4 owners gets early access to the Blackout Beta launching on Sep 10. Though, XBOX One and PC players won’t have to wait that long to gain access. Activision announced that it will hold the beta session for the two platforms later same week.
Only 4 days after the PS4-exclusive session, the Blackout Beta will open for the XBOX users but only to those who’ve pre-ordered the game. On Sep 14, PC players will aslo be able to join the Blackout beta but only those who’ve pre-ordered any edition of the game. Other PC users that have a Battle.net account can join 24 hours later on Sep 15 at 1 PM EDT.
In another tweet from the official Call of Duty Twitter Account, Activision and Treyarch studio confirmed that players will be able to play solo, duo or in a group of four-player called Quad. Total player count per game is still unknown.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 12.
