Today, developer IO Interactive and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a new Hitman 2 teaser trailer confirming the second location of the game: Colombia.
Hitman 2 new teaser, “Welcome to the Jungle”, shows off the green and lush environment of the Colombia rainforest. Unlike other locations of the game where Agent 47 could easily blend in with the crowd, forest will require more of a stealth play. Using the grass and trees for cover while taking down the enemies(similar to Far Cry 3).
In a press release, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment said “This new setting will put players directly in the heart of a dark and dangerous South American rainforest, providing a vastly different canvas for Agent 47 to carry out his deadly missions. Truly a living, breathing jungle environment with threats lurking around every corner, Colombia will feature a unique gameplay experience with multiple paths to explore, unparalleled game depth and countless interactive possibilities for players.”
Hitman 2 now has a total of 8 confirmed locations. Six locations from the prequel with Colombia joining the previously announced Miami. Six maps from prequel include Paris, Sapienza, Marrakesh, Bangkok, Colorado and Hokkaido. Owners of the 2016’s Hitman game can download the six maps as a part of the Hitman Legacy Pack.
Hitman 2 will release on November 13 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
